The Heeron service was designed by Pietro Krohn and decorated by Fanny Garde and Effie Hegermann-Lindencrone. Exhibited in Copenhagen 1888 and at the World Exhibition in 1889 in Paris and the critics were almost speechless about this service. Parts of the service were immediately acquired by various applied art museums.
