A Danish Regence tête-a-tête silver tea pot, circular-baluster form in facetted design, hinged lidt, flat base, curved wooden handle, engraved in bottom with mirrored monogram and year 1736. Maker Jens Isachsen Friis, licensed in Ringkøbing 1724–1755. Weight inkl. wood handle 358 g. H. 15 cm.

Provenance: From the collection of supreme court litigator Ole Gangsted-Rasmussen (1911–1998).

Condition

Minor wear due to age and use, including som marks and scractes plus a minor loose (and possible later) handle.
