Unique desk with matte chromed steel frame. Wengé top, front with drawer in left side. Made to order 1961 by Jørgen Wolff Cabinetmakers, with maker's paper label. H. 72.5 cm. D. 61.5 cm. L. 136.5 cm.
Made as part of the original interior in one of the “Atrium” houses at Bellevue, Klampenborg, Denmark. The “Atrium” houses by Arne Jacobsen were constructed in 1960. In 1986 the “Atrium” houses were classified as a listed / protected building as a component in the Arne Jacobsen Bellevue complex.
Provenance: Bruun Rasmussen, auction 865, catalog no. 1141. Before then, in its original setting at the “Atrium” house.
