Børge Mogensen (b. Aalborg 1914, d. Gentofte 1972)
Lounge chair with patinated oak frame, sides with black iron stretchers mounted with teak handles. Loose reversible epeda cushions upholstered with greenish fabric, fitted with buttons. Designed 1954. Manufactured by Fredericia Stolefabrik.
Provenance: Acquired by present owner's father who worked as an agent for Fredericia Stolefabrik and was a friend of the founder, Andreas Graversen and Børge Mogensen. Hence by descent in the family.
Model presented at the exhibition “Købestævnet” in Fredericia 1955.
