A Russian silver cigarette case, gilt interior, engraved with geometric patterns and cartouches with noble crowned owner's initials. Latin maker's mark JAL, assayer Victor Savinkov 1867 in Moscow, St. Petersburg town mark, 84 standard. Weight 186 g. L. 12.5 cm.

It is possible that the case is made in St. Petersburg and the fineness approved in Moscow.

Condition

Minimal wear due to age and use, including few light scratches and marks.
