Emil Hannover's register of Constantin Hansen's paintings no. 532. Provenance: The portrayed's descendants. In his diary from the 22.nd of June 1868 Constantin Hansen writes “ Painted a portrait of Aug. Weis”. August Weis was a teacher at the Metropolitan School in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Condition

In need of a light surface cleaning. Minor crackles.
