A sculptural stoneware ashtray modelled in the shape of a grotesque figure. Decorated with bluish green and dark red glaze. Signed R. Gauguin, C89, the stoneware mass incised 100. Made and marked by Bing & Grøndahl, Kjøbenhavn Denmark. H. 11 cm. L. 19 cm.
