Christian Guldager’s works explore memory, identity and self-perception through both painting and photography. In Searching for Nowhere two motifs transcend psychological drama in one composition, referencing the process that takes place when we remember the past and imagine the future.
The jury has selected Christian Guldager’s work for their unique ability to evoke uncertainty, raising existential questions in an atmosphere of eerie silence.
