Flora Danica is the most extensive representation of the Scandinavian flora, including plants of Northern Germany, Greenland, Iceland, and The Faroe Islands. The first fascicle was published in 1761 and the publication continued for more than 120 years. The work was issued in three languages (Danish, Latin, and German) with plain or hand-coloured plates.
