A Russian silver-gilt jewel casket, of traditional rectangular form on bracket feet, dome-shaped lid, richly decorated with multicoloured cloisonné enamel in the shape of stylized flowers against a stippled gilt ground, two handles. Pavel Akimov Ovchinnikov, marked with the Imperial Warrant as purveyor to the Imperial Russian Court, Moscow 1908–1917, 84 standard. Weight c. 438 g. H. 7 cm. L. 12.3 cm. D. 8 cm.
