Portrait of Margarethe Moltke, b. Løvenskiold (1772–1808) in a blue dress with a white bow. Unsigned. Oil on wooden panel. 63×42 cm.

The present painting is a copy after a portrait of Margarethe Moltke from 1786, registered as no. 388, Ellen Poulsen, A Catalogue Raisonné of the works of Jens Juel, 1991. The sitter was married to Ewalds Moltke in 1786.

Condition

Minor retouches. One minor area with crackles.
