Anthony van Dyck, after, c. 1900
Portrait of Prince Willem II of Orange as a young boy. Unsigned. Oil on canvas. 51.5×44 cm.
The painting is a detail from Anthony van Dyck's “Portrait of Prince Willem II of Orange as a young boy, with a dog” from around 1632, which he presumably painted in two versions. One is located at the Museum Schloss Mosigkau in Mosigkau-Dessau and measures 117.5×102 cm. The other one is presently in private ownership in London, United Kingdom.
A few small retouches. Minimal crackles and a few minimal peelings. In need of a light surface cleaning.
