Collection of more than 200 photographs from all over the world, late 19th century to early 20th century. The collection incl. photographs from Japan, Singapore China, Hong Kong, Calcutta and Ganges in India, Jordan River, Palestine, Egypt, Iran, Konstantinobel, Baalbek, Bethlehem, Jesrusalem, Jaffa, Pireus, Athens, Calcutta, Canton, Rangoon, Mandalay, Oabu, Malaysia, Burma, Kashmir, Saigon, Ganges River, Ceylon, Mount everst, Port Said and more. The Japanese section consists of more than 40 handcoloured photographs of Japanes life style, gardens and houses. Among the photographs are many of the indeginious pople of the respective areas as well as archeological sites. Mostly albumen prints mounted on boards. Various sizes, most photographs are large, c. 21×28 cm. Some are smaller and are mounted four on one board, c. 10×15 cm. All housed in two contemporary cloth boxes (in poor condition).
