Edward Prior verge pocket watch for the Turkish market in triple tortoise and gilt metal cases, white dial with Arabic numerals, signed Edward Prior London, movement signed Edw Prior and numbered 53248, inner case marked JD. 18th century. Weight 144 g. Case diam. 63/53/43 mm.

Provenance: Danish private collection.

Condition

The watch works, but we do not guarantee for the functionality. Wear due to age and use. Dial with haircrack and minor chip. Gilt worn. Tortoise with minor dents.
