A pair of Empire style gilt and patinated bronze candelabra after a model by Pierre-Philippe Thomire, each with a female figure standing on globe and holding six-branches aloft. France, 20th century. H. 103 cm. (2)
The model of these candelabra was made for the Emperor Napoleon for the Château de Saint-Cloud in 1805.
