Unique pair of high backed armchairs with profiled frame of Brazilian rosewood. Seat and back upholstered with yellow/green wool. Manufactured by Normina. (2)

These chairs were made as part of the interior for “Villa Koux” in Hellerup. Ernst Kühn was, in 1935, responsible for the construction and decoration of the house for the Henkel CEO in Denmark, Edvard Koux. It was decorated with a very luxurious extravagant interior designed by Ernst Kühn.

Condition

Wear due to age and use, including scratches and marks. Armrests with slightly loose assemblings. Upholstery with stains, dirt and some loose edge bands. Some edgings frayed.
