A classic Suzani from the town of Nurata north east of Bokhara displays four large, diagonal flowering trees in the corners of the field and flowering shrubs are grouped around it, main border with slender green leaves around palmettes. Silk embroidery on cotton foundation. 19th century. 227×179 cm.
