This Danish film prize Bodil statuette was given to the American film director Sidney Lumet (1924–2011) for best non-European film, “The Pawnbroker” in 1966.
“Bodil” are critics Film Awards and has been awarded since 1948. The statuette is created in a collaboration between illustrator Ebbe Sadolin and sculptor Svend Jespersen. The statuette is produced only for the awards ceremony.
