China, Ming Dynasty, Board of Revenue, 1 Kuan (1000 Cash), 1368–1399, Pick AA10, printed on mulberry bark paper and stamped with the Red Seal of Emperor Hung Wu - a very nice example with clear red seals and only minor chips in the margins.

Accompanied by a letter from the Coin Dept. at the National Museum of Denmark

Provenance: The renowned Danish collector and engineer Sophus Black (1882–1960), who was stationed in China from 1902 to 1931. Ex. BR 878, lot 516
