A pair of Danish giltwood and walnut petite commodes in the manner of Mathias Ortmann, with the serpentine moulded tops possibly later, each with a punched parcel gilt frieze with ribbon ornament, containing three cross-banded drawers inlaid with ash lines, parcel-gilt moulding with canted angles and foliate flower head pendant ornament, the pierced aprons below with fruit, ribbon and floral garlands on splayed inswept legs, each painted with 'IA' on the back.
