Arne Bang (b. Frederiksberg 1901, d. Fensmark 1983)

A circular stoneware bowl, the exterior modelled with fluted relief decor. Decorated with light greyish green glaze with brown elements. Signed monogram, 189. H. 11.2 cm. Diam. 26.3 cm.

Condition

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks. Chip on upper rim. Glaze crackles along the foot rim, presumably from the process of making.
