An English Regency style gilt metal jewellery box, of circular form, cast with foliate decoration, hinged lid with inserted Wedgwood profile portrait of a female from the Classical Antiquity, lined inside with dark red velvet. Unmarked. C. 1900. H. 4 cm. Diam. 7.5 cm.

Minor and normal wear and age patina, including some slight irregularities, wear marks on the base and velvet lining somewhat worn.
