Provenance: The Andersson family has run the Per Ekström Museum on Öland for many years. In addition to this the family set out to create the largest collection of Danish concrete art outside of Denmark. An undertaking that manifests itself tastefully and impressively in the collection's carefully selected main works by artists primarily from the artist groups linien I, II and III. Several works have over the years been loaned out to various museums and exhibitions and are richly reproduced in art historical literature; worth noting is the large retrospective Linien II exhibition at Statens Museum for Kunst in 1988, where several of the collection's works were represented and reproduced in the exhibition catalogue.
Some small cracks in the cardboard. Peelings. Visible nails and pinholes round the edges.
