A Danish Rococo parcel-gilt silver snuff box, gilt interior, of bombé form, hinged and slightly domed lid plus bottom chased with rocailles and shell ornamentation, back pricked N.P.S. Maker Povel Knudsen Lund, Aalborg 1767–1794. Weight 100 g. H. 1.2 cm. L. 7 cm.

Provenance: From the collection of supreme court litigator Ole Gangsted-Rasmussen (1911–1998).

Condition

Minimal wear due to age and use, including few marks and scratches.
