The corvette “Najaden” goes to sea. Unsigned. Dated 9 Juli 1829. Drawing ink and ink wash on paper. Visible size 10.5×12 cm.
Eckersberg writes in his diary 9 July 1829 (in Danish): “Made a walk with lieutenant Normann to Trekroner at 7 1/4 o'clock. From here we saw the cadet ship goes to the Baltic Sea, also several ships came in, the weather and everything was quite picturesque - we came home at 12 o'clock”.
The sheet has turned slightly brown.
