An English George III longcase clock in black painted case decorated with Chinese decoration in gold, brass dial with openwork corner ornaments, silver-plated chapter ring, movement with minute disposal and calendar. The plaque signed 'Christopher Goddard, London'. Late 18th century. H. 215 cm. W. 47 cm. D. 23 cm.
Condition
Wear due to age and use. The watch works, but we do not guarantee for the functionality. Pendulum damaged. Two weights is enclosed. The movement in need of cleaning. Paint on case worn and cracked in places.
