An Egyptian cartonnage fragment from a coffin painted in colours with two areas wherein a naked human and the bird with human head, Ba, with hieroglyphs. Approximate translates, upper area: daugther of the/the elevated for Osiris, the house lord, Ta-shep, lower area: Osiris Duamutef. Third Intermediate Period, 22nd dynasty, 945–712 f.Kr. L. 39 cm.

Provenance: From a Swedish collection. Accountant and numismatic Emil Månsson, 1896–1977.

Condition

Wear, scratches, larger stain, possible retouch of paint.
