Apollo 11 was the first ever space mission that brought man to the Moon. This happened in July 1969. The leader of the voyage, Commander Neil A. Armstrong and Astronauts Edwin Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins constituted the team, which NASA had set up for the task. Armstrong and Aldrin spent a total of two hours and 31 minutes on the surface of the Moon, where they collected 22 kilograms of samples.
This is an original Kodak colour photograph from 1969, which has yellowed slightly. Very modest signs of handling.
