Provenance: Lise Hüttemeier, daughter of C.K. Hansen former CEO of the East Asiatic Company, who acquired the plates from H.V. Jacobsen, also a former director of the East Asiatic Company, who was a well-known major collector of Chinese art during his stay in China in the early 20th century.
