Unknown photographer: An original b/w press photograph of the English Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill (1874–1965) bidding goodnight to Queen Elizabeth II after a farewell dinner at No. 10 Downing Street on the eve of April 4th, 1955. Back with UPI stamp and describing news telegram dated April 5, 1955. Furthermore stamped date, “ ... 1968”. Photo size 23×17.5 cm. Frame size 43×33 cm.

Winston Churchill in his famous speech in Fulton, MIssouri on March 5, 1946, in which he introduced the concept “iron curtain”.

Condition

This is an original b/w press photograph from 1955, which has a few surface cracklings and slightly yellowed front and back. Furthermore normal signs of handling.
