A large Russian silver Rococo Revival table mirror, top engraved with Russian monogram “H”, cast with rocailles and foliage. Dorofey Semyonovich Tikhomirov, assayer Victor Savinkov 1867, Moscow town mark, 84 standard. Iron hanger and wooden reverse. H. 60 cm.
Provenance: Danish private ownership since the 1930s, where it was acquired by seller's grandfather in St. Petersburg.
Condition
Minimal wear due to age and use.
