Axel Salto (b. Copenhagen 1889, d. Frederiksberg 1961)
A group of three small stoneware vases modelled in sprouting style. Decorated with resp. Solfatara glaze (made 1958), geryish white glaze with reddish and grey elements (made 1965) and brownish rose glaze with greyish brown elements (not dated). Signed Salto, resp. 20679 and 5465. Royal Copenhagen. Designed 1944. H. 11.5–12 cm. (3)
