The present work is a study for another painting by P. A. Schou, which is also on this auction with lot no. 2335/172.
Provenance: Consul General Johan Hansen's collection no. 1473 (1927). Winkel & Magnussen auction 274, 1940 no. 160.
A few minimal peelings. The canvas is slightly bulging. The canvas needs tightening. In need of a light surface cleaning.
