'Casablanca' was originally scheduled to premiere in January 1943, but very late in the production process Warner Bros. decided to bring the date forward to November 26, 1942, hoping to attract more attention due to the Allied war leader conference, which was to be held exactly in Casablanca, North Africa, from January 14–24, 1943.
This is an original b/w silver gelatin promotional photograph from 1942, which has somewhat yellowed. Corners with pinholes. A few surface creases as well as pressure marks. Furthermore normal signs of handling.
