Study of rocks. Unsigned. Inscribed on the reverse Bru[u]nshaab Viborg 20. Juli 1874. Attested on the stretcher by the artist's wife (in Danish): 'This painting is executed by my late husband, Joakim Skovgaard, when he was 18 years old. Oil on canvas. 22×29 cm.

Condition

A few minimal retouches, peelings and scratches. Reinforced along the edges.
