A collection of diverse terracotta figures comprising a.o. a toga dressed man, rider on horse, breastfeeding goddess. Some mounted. Greece and Asia Minor. Prehistoric and historic period. H. 8–17 cm. (7)

Provenance: Bertil Sjöberg (1914–1999). Bertil Sjöberg was a Swedish painter who worked in Denmark, Spain and Sweden. From mid 1960s to the late 1970s he established his antiquities collection acquiring both from auctions and galleries.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. The bell shaped figure and animal totally restored/later modelled, three figures repaired by neck, scratches and chips. For countries outside Denmark, this auction lot may be subject to special regulations. Therefore, potential buyers are advised to familiarize themselves with the regulations of their respective areas.
