Kruuseminde manor house at Korsør was owned by landlord Alexander Bech, whom Michael Ancher painted in 1911. That painting was exhibited at Charlottenborg 1912 no. 18 and was intended as a gift to Josepha Vilhelmine Bech, his wife.
