Daybed of pine. Frame of patinated metal and shoes of teak. Later loose mattress upholstered with button fitted light cotten, leather buttons and leather edgings. H. 37 cm. L. 200 cm. B. 109.5 cm.
Provenance: Originate from the home of Marianne Riis-Carstensen, which for many years was a close employee to Finn Juhl. Marianne Riis-Carstensen was a student at the School for interior design, where Finn Juhl was director from 1945–1955. Today she is known for her beautiful watercolour sketches of Finn Juhls furniture and buildings, which she drew together with Finn Juhl.
Wear due to age and use, including scratches, marks, notches and minor chips.
