Provenance: According to information acquired by Ludvig Stenersen Münter, 1877–1957, who worked for the Great Northern Telegraph Company and was stationed as an assistent in Shanghai from 1900–1909 and as a station master in Beijing from 1909–1929, the family knew Sophus Black, and their home was a popular meeting place for Danish expats in Beijing.
Wear due to age and use. Some scratches, especially on back. Two holes on bottom presumably for stand.
