Olav V was born in 1903 as Prince Alexander of Denmark, but became heir to the Norwegian throne when his father, Prince Carl of Denmark, was elected King of the new, independent Norway in 1905.

Provenance: Present from King Olav V of Norway to Master of Ceremonies at the Royal Danish Court, Chamberlain Ulf Gabel-Jørgensen (1925–2006). C. 1970.

Condition

Leather frame with scratches. Furthermore normal signs of handling. Faded signature.
