The Classen service, oval pierced dish of Chinese export porcelain, decorated with a medallion picture of J.-F. Saly's equestrian statue of King Frederik V, with the railing around it in ink, gold and red against the blue sky, framed by a laurel wreath in brown and gold, purple painted border with green leaf and wide gilt edge with the inscription "Til Erindring af Det Danske Asiatiske Compagnie den XXI October MDCCLXXIV”. China, c. 1775. Diam. Diam. 30, 34 og 39 cm. (3)

Condition

Wear due to age and use. One dish repaired all over.
