Unique wall mounted shelf / Bench of teak with rounded corners and raised edges on back and sides. Back with three brass fittings. Made appr. 1951 by cabinetmaker Axel Albeck. H. 15 cm. L. 200 cm. D. inkl. beslag. 32 cm.
Made on request for Peter Hvidt's own house. Shelf/bench is a variant of a similar shaped desk that was exhibited at the Cabinetmaker's Guild Exhibition in 1951.
This lot is subject to Artist's Royalty.
Condition
Scratches, marks and blotch. Bored holes on back edge and underside with mill outs for light mounting. Not visible when mounted on wall.
