Russia, Order of St. Stanislas, 1st. Class set of neck badge, breast star, sash and miniature, 1896–1908. Badge with gold stamp “56” on loop. Breast star hallmarked “84”. Both stamped with Cyrillic signature of the famous St. Petersburg maker, Eduard. Romanov 35, 37 - Excellent condition, in original red leather box with gilt imprint
The set was bestowed upon the Danish Major-general, Carl Christian Emil Engelbrecht Juel, 1833–1914. Juel accompanied the Danish crown prince Frederik to the coronation of the last Russian Czar, Nicholas II, which took place in Moscow on the 26th of May 1896
