Spider-Man (or Spiderman) was created by Stan Lee (1922–2018) and Steve Ditko (1927–2018) and is today among the most popular comic heroes in the world. The character's first appearance was in the magazine “Amazing Fantasy” (# 15) in August 1962. Tom Holland has played the part since 2016.
