Portrait of P. O. Brøndsted (1780–1842) classical archaeologist and professor of classical philology, in double-breasted blue coat with ribbon of the Order of Dannebrog in the buttonhole. He is holding a book in his right hand. On his finger a signet ring with a red gem. 1839. Signed Jensen p. Oil on canvas. 27×20.5 cm. Period frame.
