The Danish artist Johannes Holt Iversen (b.1989) lives and works between Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and Herfølge, Denmark. He started as an apprentice with the Danish painter and sculptor Erik Rytter (former assistant to Poul Gernes) and then received a diploma from the Dutch art academy Gerrit Rietveld Academie with graduation exhibition 2020. Holt Iversen focuses on exploring the tension between artificial and organic material and forms of life and work using both traditional art forms and cutting-edge new technologies, including AI, to introduce its viewers to an existential awareness of hyper-accelerating reality. Represented at Annika Nuttall Gallery.

The work is part of a charity auction to benefit “Børns Vilkår” (Children's Rights Denmark). The auction is initiated and curated by “Curated by Jens-Peter Brask”. The artists have generously donated their works. Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers do not charge fees or commission so the total proceeds will go undiminished to Børns Vilkår's important work.
