Børge Rammeskov (b. 1911, d. 2009)
Unique side table with metal frame, brass stretchers and tall “feet”. Clear glass top with rounded ends. Designed and made 1956. Original sketch drawing included. H. 45 cm. L. 50 cm. W. 34 cm.
Provenance: In his young years, Børge Rammeskov was employed at Bent Helweg-Møller's drawing office, and was later made partner during their work on the expansion of Odense Town Hall. He took over the drawing office after Helweg-Møller passed away in February 1956. The table was designed and executed in 1956 for Bent Helweg-Møller's (widowed) wife, Birthe Frisch Lemche. The original architect's drawing dated 30.11.56 is included.
Glass top with few minor chips and surface scratches. Frame with patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks, surface rust and tarnish.
