A Danish Empire silver vinaigrette, gilt interior, of vase form with two handles, pierced top on hinged lid, chased with leaf vine, four-sided base with balm hide, overall set with facetcut red glass stones, bottom pricked “ISK ACD 1827”. Maker Christian Gottlieb Behrensen, licensed in Copenhagen 1799–1824. Weight 72 g. H. 11 cm.
