A silver mounted Ottoman Yatagan in its scabbard. The grip with small “ears” completely covered in sheet silver, the single edged typical blade is c 52 cm long dated 1851? with an inscription in gold koftgari on one side and a decoration in the same technic on the other in a wooden scabbard wrapped in faded red velvet with a chased large upper mount in silver.
The blade spotted, the scabbard mount is damaged, and the lower mount is missing. The protruding from the grip onto the blade is missing.
For the purchased lot we require an import permit from your home country authority. If the buyer of this auction lot lives outside of Denmark, the pick up of the lot can only be conducted by an authorized forwarding agent with a weapons license.
