A collection of Russian silver cutlery, comprising:

Nine Russian silver dinner forks. Alexei Nasyedin, assayer Alexander Timofeievich Sheviakov 1894, St. Petersburg town mark, 84 standard. Weight c. 648 g. L. 20.7 cm.

Twelve Russian silver lunch knives. Samuel Zacharias Filander, assayer Ivan Vonifatievich Evstigneev 1887, St. Petersburg town mark, 84 standard. Weight c. 740 g. L. 19.5 cm.

Enclosed a Russian silver soup spoon (Samuel Zacharias Filander 1887) and a Russian silver sugar tongs (1881). Weight c. 136 g. L. 22 cm and 15 cm. (23).

Provenance: Frederik von Kiær, who was a Danish envoy in St. Petersburg from the last quater of the 19th century and until 1917, where he returned to Denmark. I the years living in Russia he had a close contact to the Imperial Russian Court and Tsaritsa Maria Feodorovna of Russia. Thence by descents until today.

Condition

Minimal wear due to age. All parts (except the sugar tongs) with engravins.
